English Setter, 1 Years Old
Zan is a very handsome tricolour English setter, DOB 12/10/19
Zan was given to the shelter by his hunter who said he wasn’t good for hunting, although don’t be fooled, he may still have a strong prey drive in a home when he discovers how fun walks can be!
He’s shy at first but as soon as he gets outside, he lights up, he absolutely loves to run in the outside run at the shelter and turns into a big puppy, legs flying everywhere! He’s happiest when he’s running around like a nutter.
He’s sociable with male and female dogs. He’s very affectionate with people once he knows them. He is not used to walking on a lead so will need work in this area.
Zan is looking for a home with a resident dog and active adopters who can fulfil his exercise needs and bring that smile to his face! It’s likely he will have challenging recall, at least for some time, so adopters should be able to exercise him in a secure field or he would make an ideal running partner
