Brittany, 4 Years Old
Terry (now known as Bear) is a very handsome, tall, liver and white Brittany, just four years old, his date of birth is 01/03/2021.
Bear is a big gentle boy with a heart of gold. He loves to run, exploring a field or chasing a ball and he is a bit of a water baby too. Bear has good recall so is let off lead in safe areas, of course this should be re-established in a new home. Bear adores the companionship of other dogs and is very playful with small to medium sized, friendly dogs. He loves meeting other dogs and is always very respectful. He gains so much confidence and comfort from their company, that we will only rehome him to a home with a friendly dog.
Bear is great with people, very affectionate and gentle, even when taking a treat. He loves a fuss or to be stroked or groomed. He enjoys his food and is not fussy. Bear is housetrained, happy to be left for short periods with the other dogs in the house and so far has only destroyed dog toys – what a star!
Bear came across to the UK a year ago and has been living in a lovely home with a couple and their two dogs. Bear has settled in so well but sadly following an incident with a motorbike backfiring beside him, Bear has been increasingly fearful of noises (bangs). Although living on the edge of town, traffic and other urban noise is unavoidable and Bear is increasingly stressed, he is not wanting his walks and so we are looking for a quiet rural home for him.
Bear has been cat tested (see video below) and we believe he could live happily with a cat that is confident around dogs.
