Slowchi, female podenco 1 yr old
Slowchi is a young female podenco. When she arrived at the shelter she was extremely scared but she never showed any aggression at all, not even a growl…. she just stops still and freezes. Little by little she is learning about affection from human contact and she is learning to like a fuss and cuddle. She gets along very well with other dogs.
Podencos are a Spanish lightly built hound, keen to learn, very affectionate, sometimes lovably clownish and well known for their incredible jumping skills. They have great agility and stamina, they are usually intelligent and affectionate dogs.
