Brittany, 13 Years Old
Siro is a lovely old boy and at 13 years old he was handed into the shelter as he was no longer useful to his hunter, it is so sad to see a dog of this age turn up at the shelter and initially he was very disorientated. His date of birth is 19/02/2011.
Siro is a real love with people, very sweet and affectionate, always looking for a caress and a lot of cuddles.
UPDATE Siro is now in foster in Devon. He is such a loving boy but needs an adoptive or foster home urgently with no other male dogs so that he can easily settle in and relax.
Siro’s foster mum says “Siro is a friendly boy and very affectionate, a lovely character. Being an elderly dog, he doesn’t require long walks, he enjoys a short walk and loves a potter about in the garden. His house training is doing well. He sleeps very well through the night on a dogs bed in our bedroom. He loves his food. He seems a little hard of hearing and is always to be found near his humans. He would enjoy a calm , peaceful home in which to live out his latter years. A gorgeous boy!”
Siro is friends with all dogs and humans he meets out on his walks, but sadly he finds it hard to share a house with another male dog, so we are looking for a home as an only dog or with a female dog.
Siro would be an ideal companion for a couple who want a less active, very loving Brittany and are with their dog most of the day. Siro adores being near his humans and a quiet gentle life would be ideal for him. He may need some help with stairs at bedtime, so we need adopters able to lift him when necessary.
