English Setter, 10 Years Old
Rotem is a 10 year old English Setter, DOB 1.08.14
Rotem’s story is a fairly typical one, given up by his hunter once he’s a bit older and not as useful for hunting. He bares the marks of a life with a hunter with calluses on his elbows from spending 10 years lying on a cement floor, far from the cosy bed he’s looking for in his new life!
He’s a very calm and balanced lad with a great character. He lives with 3 other dogs in the shelter and they get on really well together, Rotem is a very sociable dog and even happy to share his food although, of course, we’d still recommend feeding him separately when he arrives in a home so he knows his food is safe. He loves people too, he’s very affectionate and bonds to people very quickly. He walks well on his lead at the moment too but this could change on exciting walks in a new home!
