Male 8 Year Old Pointer
Ron is a lovely 8 year old male pointer, born on 16/05/2013.
Ron arrived at the shelter with his friend, a Podenco called Chiquito, and then came across to foster in Devon in August and he is doing really well.
Ron is a happy dog and quite confident, he is affectionate with people and gets on well with other dogs. He is housetrained, in fact he has never had an accident in the house which is quite amazing given that he has always lived in kennels before. He loves the garden and found a special spot to dig. He is calm and relaxed much of the time, until a scent on a walk can ignite the old prey drive. He is in fact a quiet star just waiting for a wonderful home.
Ron is in foster as an only dog and would suit a home either with other dogs or as an only dog. He has not been cat tested.
In Ron’s photos you will see that he has a small scar on his face, a split tooth and a flap of skin on his abdomen, these are all from old injuries and they do not seem to affect him at all.
