English Setter, 5 Year Old
UPDATE: Rock and Evo were both adopted in 2022 (although at different times) and have flourished in their home but very sadly, due to some quite tragic circumstanced in the family. Rock is currently in West Sussex while he finds his new home.
Rock has landed in his new foster home almost like he’s been there his whole life. His foster mum says he is an absolute joy to look after and despite having a reasonably busy home, he has taken everything in his stride, meeting visitors with delight and been amazing with everyone, including children. He’s already settled enough to enjoy zooms with the resident dog and is showing what a clever boy he is!
HISTORY: Rock is handsome young English Setter, date of birth 12/06/2020.
Rock was handed to the shelter by his hunter, yet another dog that is the unwanted excess to requirements of the hunter, thrown away at the end of the hunting season.
Rock arrived at the shelter very fearful of people, but he is sharing a kennel with the more confident Kurt and he is gaining confidence all the time. He loves the company of male and female dogs and follows them everywhere.
Rock is looking for a home with a friendly resident dog to help him with his confidence and to give him some companionship.
