English Setter, 11 Years Old
Update: Nala, now Ruby, was adopted by an older couple after being in UK foster last year but unfortunately they have struggled with her on walks so she’s back in foster while she finds a new home. She’s a really lovely girl with plenty of energy left for walks! She does still pull on her lead and needs some more training to help with this. Her foster home think she might be a bit hard of hearing but that doesn’t stop her hearing birds, true working setter at heart, even at 11 years old! She’s really sweet and has even visited the care home her foster mum manages and the residents love her too!
She’s looking for a home with or without a resident dog, although has not been cat tested. She is currently in Newbury but can travel anywhere in the UK
HISTORY: Nala is a gorgeous female English Setter, she is 11 years old, date of birth 29/11/2011.
Nala is a gorgeous older female, throw out by her hunter owner when she was no longer any use.
Nala is a very balanced dog, she gets on very well with male and female dogs.
Nala is very sweet and affectionate with people and comes for a fuss when called within the confines of the shelter (this would probably be different on exciting walks).
