Pointer, 7 Years Old
Luna arrived in the UK in May 2024 and is now looking for a new home.
Luna is a beautiful female pointer, her passport describes her as a German Shorthaired Pointer, but like so many of our rescue dogs she looks like she may have other pointers in the mix. She is nearly 8 years old, her date of birth is 12/12/2016.
Luna arrived at the shelter very nervous and stressed, she was very sensitive and found the changes very hard however her confidence grew quickly in a home and she formed a close bond with her new adopter in record time. Unfortunately she would really prefer not to share her human with the resident dog and is therefore looking for a new home as an only dog.
Luna is very affectionate and very attached with people she knows. She has been reliably recalling off lead to her adopter, though this was gradually built up over time in secure fields as it should be with the new home. Luna also loves playing with her ball.
Luna would love a quiet home with lots of human companionship, adventures and cuddles.
