English Setter, 2 Years Old
UPDATE: Sadly we are looking for a new home for Konor. Poor Konor has been through several homes now and needs his next stop to be his last. He is a wonderful boy and has settled really well into two foster homes but sadly has struggled to settle in other circumstances. We know for sure he needs a resident dog to help him, although he can come across quite independent, we have learned that life is a little scary for him without a canine friend in tow to boost him. He is an incredibly affectionate boy who adores a cuddle with his humans and loves to rest his head on the arm of a chair or his human’s leg while having a snooze. When he’s not having a nap, he can be found having a ball in the garden, running laps and absolutely loves going for walks, his favourite activity for sure which won’t be a surprise to anybody with a working setter! He can pull initially on a walk but settles down well and walks nicely for most walks. He is also toilet trained although it should be noted that Konor has had a lot of change in his life and these things can all take a step back with a change of home.
We are looking for a patient and quiet home for Konor with the time and space to let him decompress with no expectations on him and build his confidence around things he can be wary of. In general, he is a confident guy but as with a lot of dogs we help, lack of socialisation as youngsters means he can be wary of certain situations and environments and needs a helping hand to get over these hurdles as they arise. Konor is currently based in Leicestershire
UPDATE: Konor is now in UK foster
Konor is doing really well settling into his foster home. He lives with two resident setters and he gets along with them great but he’s also happy to entertain himself or play with humans. He really adores humans and will even ignore dogs on walks to get some attention from their owners first! He’s gaining independence quickly but looks to his foster parents for reassurance if he needs it. He seems to be a laid back boy and has taken everything in his stride since arriving in the UK. He walks well on a lead (at least for now!) and is doing really well with his toilet training as well and is sleeping through the night. Despite often being quite independent around the home at times and loving humans, Konor needs a home with another dog as he gets really upset and stressed being the only dog in the house

This beautiful small setter is Konor. He’s a very happy chap who loves to be active. He’s a little shy until he gets to know you but affectionate once he’s had time to learn to trust you and he knows he’s safe with you
