English Setter, 2 Years Old

UPDATE: Konan is now in foster in Cumbria with a lovely family. After just one week, this boy has come out of his shell so much! He really thrives off the company of the resident dogs and following their lead to learn that life doesn’t have to be so scary. Having arrived extremely nervous of people, he’s slowly following the other dogs lead and starting to approach them (especially if there’s cheese involved, he loves cheese!). In true setter style, despite being nervous, he has managed to find the sofa and made himself at home there, even better if he gets a doggy snuggle while he’s at it! He’s enjoyed exploring the garden and is enjoying scoffing all his meals too!

In his new home, he’ll need a resident dog and somebody with the time and patience to let him carry on building his confidence. A quiet rural life suits him very well and would make the ideal forever home for him

Konan is an 2 Year Old English Setter, DOB 18.07.21

He’s a small boy given up by his hunter along with his buddy, Konor. The two of them get on well and love to play. He’s a little bit shy at first until he gets to know you but is a very happy and affectionate boy who, of course, is very active and loves to run outside. He’s getting very stressed in the shelter after a long wait and is very sadly getting more nervous. He needs a patient and calm home where he can gain confidence in his own time
