English Setter, 3 Years Old
Kodak is a 3 year old English Setter, DOB 02.02.21
Poor Kodak is a very fearful dog. Although we don’t know exactly what’s happened to him in his short life, it’s clear he has not been treated well by humans. He doesn’t like being touched and will try to avoid people. He’s had a bad start to life and needs a quiet home with very patient adopters who can teach him that humans can bring him so much love and joy and he doesn’t need to be scared anymore.
Dogs like Kobak tend to only gain so much confidence in a shelter and need the support of a loving family to help with the rest. He’ll need a home with a resident dog to help him with his confidence as he gets a lot of security from having other dogs around and while humans may be scary, he has his canine buddies. He will need a home without small children who may accidentally scare him and a country setting would be ideal so he doesn’t have to face a busy life too quickly
