English Setter, 9 Years Old
Jana is a 9 year old English Setter, DOB 28.06.15
This wonderful girl has a sad story. Unwanted by her hunter now she’s older, she arrived in the shelter in February and, unbeknown to everyone, was pregnant. The ladies arrived at the shelter one morning to find she had given birth to a litter of just 2 pups at the age of nine. The male was born small and weak and tragically lost his life early on and as hopeful as we were for the female, she sadly joined her brother in the following days too despite round the clock care, leaving everyone devastated.
Jana deserves home more than ever before after all she has gone through. She’s a beautiful girl with a character to match and despite everything she’s gone through, she’s doing so well. She’s energetic still at 9 years old and loves to run and is very active and adores other dogs. She lives in a kennel with 4 other dogs and they get on very well! She also absolutely adores humans and is extraordinarily affectionate, always close by and always waiting for a big fuss, which of course she is getting plenty of!
