English Setter, 1 Years Old
Iro is a 1 year old English Setter, DOB 02.01.23
Iro’s hunter didn’t want him as he wasn’t a good hunter, he contacted the rescue we work with in Spain to take him on but they had a waiting list and sadly during the month that he was waiting for a space, the hunter gave him to somebody else. Dogs are often passed around hunters, with the next one thinking they can train them better but usually worse training techniques as they go
Despite that, Iro is a very happy and sociable boy that loves to play. He adores people and children and could happily live in a home with children. He’s also great with other dogs and is very playful and sociable with others although we think he could live with or without a resident dog as he seems adaptable. Despite being very young, he is not excessively active at the shelter which may be a bonus to some potential adopters!
