English Setter, 8 Years Old
Doly is an 8 year old English Setter, DOB 09.04.16
Doly is a beautiful girl who appears to be well rounded in the shelter. She’s a bit of a dream setter in the respect that she has playful and active moments but also calmer ones so she’s ideal for families who want the best of both worlds! She’s a very happy soul, affectionate, submissive and great with other dogs too, as well as children. We think she could live as both an only dog or with other dogs and she’s also been cat tested
The hunter she belonged to accidentally ran her over with his car when she was a puppy, causing a fracture in her leg that was left to heal on its own. It’s caused her to have a slight limp in one of her hind legs and of course she has been hunting on it ever since. Sometimes she has a bit of lameness in it but she’s very happy and runs and jumps and keeps up with all the other dogs with no issues. Her leg doesn’t need surgical intervention but she is currently on supplements to help
