English Setter, 1 Years Old

UPDATE:

Poor Aspen travelled to a lovely new home last month but sadly he really really isn’t coping well as an only dog and has become incredibly stressed. We try our best but sadly we got the wrong match this time. He is currently under the vets after suffering seizures in his first home that we believe may have been caused by stress but we will know more in the coming weeks before he moves to any new home

Aspen is a gorgeous one year old setter. He’s a total cuddle monster and loves to be with people, particularly men! We’re looking for a home with a resident dog to help him and somebody around for him at least most of the time, he will need some time to settle before building up to being left Aspen is currently in Nottingham and is not cat tested. He’s doing much better in foster with resident dogs and is fitting in really well.

Aspen is an English setter coming to 1 year old, DOB 13.01.2021

Aspen was given up by his hunter, along with Buda and Astro for not being good enough at hunting.

He’s an energetic boy and very active like any young working setter. He’s very sweet and affectionate with people and gets along great with his kennel mates

Aspen has arrived very thin but he’s putting on weight now at the shelter. He’s anxious around food and is fed separately to other dogs at the moment
