Brittany, 7 Years Old
Wilfred is a gorgeous, handsome, seven year old, male Brittany, his date of birth is 10/04/18. His official name given by his hunter owner is WiFi which we have lengthened to Wilfred.
Wilfred is a gentle, affectionate boy, he has clearly had a very hard life and now needs an understanding and loving home. The hunter said he had been attacked by other dogs and he can be initially nervous and submissive around new male dogs, he enjoys the company of female dogs. He is a very sweet natured dog and has not shown aggression to other dogs or humans despite his fears.
Wilfred is very sweet natured with people, he may be nervous initially but once he knows you he is very affectionate and will seek you out. Within the confines of the shelter he is very obedient. We think Wilfred could be happy living as an only dog or with other dogs.
Wilfred arrived at the shelter in a very poor physical condition, his disease tests showed low level leish and some hip dysplasia, so for the last two months he has spent at the kennels being treated and he has responded really well to treatment. Wilfred is now ready to find a new home, we will discuss his medical history in detail with all applicants.
