English Setter, 4 Years Old
UPDATE:
Valdi arrived in his new home in March and has done really well, gaining in confidence and learning to live in a house. Unfortunately his adopters have a young child and have realised they can’t give Valid the time and attention that he needs. He is currently in the Liverpool area.
He’s an affectionate boy, very loving, and enjoys being with people, although can now be left alone at home for short periods. Like many setters, his recall is a work in progress but he loves to run in a secure field and is doing well with walking on the lead. Particularly partial to ham and cheese, he would do well with someone who is happy to do some basic training and give him the attention he deserves.
Valdi is a 4 year old English Setter, DOB 13.09.20
Valdi is originally from Italy, bred by a specialist breeder and imported to Spain by a hunter but has now been kicked to the curb. His passport is under the name “Zord” but his hunter in Spain called him Valdi and he responds to his name.
He is very affectionate and attached to people, always on the look out for you. He is very noble and easy going when being handled by the ladies at the shelter, even when he first arrived. He’s playful and sociable with other dogs, he’s the type that gets along with everyone at the shelter. He’s well suited to being either an only dog or living with others and is also good with children
