English Setter, 10 Years Old

Tina is a gorgeous older girl looking for her retirement home. She’s simply a joy and absolutely adores humans in true setter fashion! She’s picked up house manners really well in the short time she’s been in a home, sleeps through the night and is toilet trained too, although she may need some reminders with the stress of changing homes.
She can be quite independent in the house but will check in for a cuddle now and then. She’s happy pottering around and finding places to snooze the day away in between her walks. She travels well in the car and walks wonderfully on her lead… what more could you want from a setter?!
Tina is currently an only dog but does like dogs she meets on walks so she could also live with a resident dog in her new home. Tina would love a home with people around most of the day. She has interacted well with children outside of the home but has not had any experience with cats.
Tina is an almost year old English Setter, DOB 21.07.15
This lovely girl has recently arrived at the shelter from the Basque Country along with 3 other setters. Sadly one of the hunters in a neighbouring region breeds setters and often wants rid of multiple dogs at a time as he has too many but continues to breed at a quick rate.
Tina is a very happy dog, she’s very friendly and very active, she has an amazing amount of energy for her age. She’s very friendly with the other dogs at the shelter and is very affectionate with people, always willing to have a big fuss made of her!
