English Setter, 5 Years Old

Sky is a beautiful girl but is still nervous and needs a kind and patient home to help improve her confidence and bring her out of her shell. She is currently living with other resident dogs and getting on well with them, although she can be nervous at first. She is nervous of people and will benefit from a friendly resident dog in a home long term to help show her the ropes. She picks her own safe spaces in the home and is gradually learning to trust
Sky is a 5 year old English Setter, DOB 02.09.20
Sky was given to the shelter by her hunter who could no longer look after her. The poor girl arrived very nervous with a lot of insecurities, she has taken the move to the shelter quite badly but is slowly allowing people to stroke her. In time and with a patient adopter, she will improve and let her true wonderful character shine though.
Sadly, shelters are tough for dogs like Sky. Although they improve over time, it’s a slow process compared to being in a home with a family who can guide her through life and show her things don’t have to be so scary.
