English Setter, 2 Years Old
Roll is a very handsome 2 year old English setter, DOB 31/08/18
Roll was seen wondering the streets of a local town and was picked up and taken to a pound before the shelter heard about him. When they went to pick him up, he was very very afraid, although they could tell he has a curious side and even though he was scared, he wanted to be with them. He would approach with fear but wanting to be loved.
The shelter say he’s a spectacular dog. He’s very submissive and still very fearful, having clearly not been treated well, but he is still so desperate to be in contact with humans. He also gains confidence from other dogs and needs a home where he will have a canine buddy to help him overcome his fears. He’s got very thin living on the streets and at the moment he still needs to be fed separately.
When the shelter went to collect Roll, who was nameless at the time, they were told about another setter called Rock who had been abandoned by his hunter so they decided to help both despite their limited funds. They get on really well and share a kennel at the moment, constantly kissing each other and cuddling up next to each other so it would be lovely to find them a home together but they can be separated if needed. Roll must have another dog in his new home.
