English Setter, 10 Years Old

Nuca is a 10 Year Old English Setter, DOB 28.07.13
Nuca is a wonderful, sweet girl. She’s living with other resident dogs and gets in with them great, taking a particular liking to the other oldie in the house! Her foster mum only has great things to say about Nuca! She’s smart, friendly and a relaxed girl. She’s sleeping well through the night and at the moment she is a joy to walk, walking wonderfully on her lead (this may change in time as she settles more and gains confidence!). Her house training is coming along really well and after arriving not knowing what a dog bed was having been used to sleeping on hard surfaces her whole life, she’s found the comfort of a sofa with a little help from her humans!
Nuca is looking for a loving home where she can relax and enjoy the comforts life has to offer. She would of course love a home with lots of attention, a comfy sofa, lovely walks and a resident dog would be a real bonus too
HISTORY: Nuca is a wonderful older girl, given up with her partner in crime, Alpha, because they were too old to hunt and so he had no use for them anymore.
Nuca has a great character and her and Alpha share a kennel at the shelter. She is a sweet and submissive girl, can be a little bit shy at first but it doesn’t take long to win her over and once she trusts you, she’s a happy and confident girl. In the shelter environment, she’s a calm and balanced girl and doesn’t pull on her lead on walks but this could change once she finds her feet
