Pointer cross, 8 Years old

Lula is a lovely, large crossbreed, she is bound to have some Spanish Mastiff in her and possibly with some German Shorthaired Pointer in her mix. Born around 4 December 2017, she is now eight years old and waiting patiently to find her forever home.

Lula was rescued from a kennel in Ourense, and although we know very little about her early life, her behaviour tells us she hasn’t had much positive experience with other dogs. She prefers not to be bothered by them and would thrive as the only dog in the household.

With people, however, Lula is simply wonderful. She is calm, affectionate, and incredibly loving. She adores human company and will always seek you out for comfort and companionship. She has such soft fur, she is a pleasure to stroke. When she goes into the enclosed field, she doesn’t want to be alone — she much prefers staying close to her person.

Lula enjoys a peaceful life. She loves resting in her bed, soaking up affection, and (very enthusiastically!) enjoying her meals — she is quite the foodie.

She does have a stiff wrist from an old injury. She now has a plate in the wrist that holds it firm but she manages well, and enjoys short walks. However, she isn’t very agile and would not be suited to long runs or highly active lifestyles. A calm home with gentle walks and plenty of love would be perfect for her.

Lula would make a devoted, gentle companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend, and her adopter will give her the love and home she has never had – this is a dog whose life you could turn around.
