English Setter, 3 Years Old
UPDATE: Lucas is currently in foster in Cumbria and settling very well to home life. He’s a real joy to have around, he’s very friendly and loves humans. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is living with two resident dogs and will join in play.
He walks nicely on his lead at the moment but this may change as his confidence increases. His toilet training is going very well and he’s getting used to being left for short periods of time. He is even happy to have his teeth brushed (with a treat for payment, of course!)
Lucas is a 3 year old English Setter, DOB 26.05.22
Lucas is a wonderful lad who has arrived at the shelter with 3 other setters. Sadly one of the hunters in a neighbouring regions breeds setters and often wants rid of multiple dogs at a time as he has too many but continues to breed at a quick rate.
Lucas is a happy boy. He’s very energetic at the shelter with a bit of nervous energy and he runs non stop which will calm as he settles into a home life. He is a confident chap in general, not showing any fear of anxiety towards people or other dogs but perhaps not best suited to life at the shelter. He’s very affectionate and would love a home with people around most of the time
