German Wirehaired Pointer cross
Lira is a gorgeous young female German Wirehaired Pointer cross, she is just a year old, her date of birth is 25/05/23.
A year ago, a couple found Lira as a pup, abandoned in a communal garage. She came to the shelter and was soon adopted by a couple in Spain with an elderly GWP, sadly ill health has meant they can no longer look after her and so she was returned to the shelter.
Lira looks like a German Wirehaired Pointer cross, she has clearly a mixed heritage with her wiry haired muzzle, big ears and cheerful curly tail. She is also smaller than a GWP, just 13kg in weight.
Lira has a great temperament, she is very affectionate with people, and is not shy with new people. She gets on well with all the dogs at the shelter, she is very playful and loves to be around other playful dogs. She has been cat tested and did well, so she could probably live with a confident cat, given careful introductions of course.
Lira has lived in an apartment in town, so unlike most of our dogs she is used to walks, noise, cars and city traffic and seems to have very little fear. She is a little star. Do have a look at the videos below..
