Pointer, 7 Years Old

Duque is a handsome seven year old Pointer (DOB: 4/6/19) who was surrendered by a hunter as he was no longer wanted. He is a beautiful Pointer with a slender and elegant figure, medium size, and a balanced character. He is respectful of the other dogs at the kennels.

He enjoys the company of other dogs and can be quite playful at times! Duque currently shares his kennel with a female setter and shares the space without problems, including at dinner time. He is a little shy if he doesn’t know you, but he quickly gains confidence and approaches timidly seeking cuddles and love.

His recall is good within the confines of the shelter, but it would be a different matter on an exciting walk. Duque loves to run around the enclosure and stretch his long legs. He would thrive in a home where he can get regular exercise and build his confidence with patient, loving handlers.
