Cola is a 4 year old English Setter, DOB 29.07.20
Cola is a very handsome chap with long silky ears. He is cheerful, sociable, noble and affectionate- what more could you want in a new friend? He approaches everyone he meets asking for a fuss, he really adores people and loves to be cuddled, even by those he has just met. He is really good with children, he absolutely loves being around them. He’s good with other dogs and has also been cat tested. He can live in a home with another dog or we think he’s confident enough to handle life as an only dog but since he likes playing with other dogs, he would really benefit from socialisation even if there’s not another dog in his home.
Cola comes from one of the worst hunters the ladies who rescued him have come across, so his wonderful nature really shows how amazing setters can be despite the treatment they have been through. Cola has spent his life chained to a wall by a very short chain with no shelter or kennel to protect him from the elements, getting soaking wet and cold in the winter months and getting hot and bothered throughout summer. He’s not had access to food or water while on this chain although thankfully they did get shelter at night. He arrived very hungry as you might expect but is really thriving now he’s been rescued, he’s one of the lucky ones!
