English Setter, 5 Years Old
Batman is a 5 year old English Setter, DOB 25.05.19
Batman’s story is different from the dogs we usually help but just as heartbreaking. Batman has lived his whole life with his family who adore him but very sadly, they’ve fallen on hard times and are soon to be made homeless and Batman will be finding himself in one of the shelters we work with in Spain. Not only is it heartbreaking for Batman, but also his family. He’s not used to shelter life and dogs used to homes often struggle adapting in the shelters. Batman is used to having people’s attention, nice walks and not to mention a nice comfy bed to sleep in which very sadly is going to be stripped away from him for the time being until he finds a new home. We really hope Batman will be in a new home for Christmas.
Batman is a really lovely well rounded boy and has lived with children and other dogs. He enjoys his walks and loves to run and play, even having good recall at the moment! Unlike most of our dogs, he has experience with the usual comings and goings of a busy household and walks, meaning he would do well in most homes. Having lived in a home, he is also house trained but adopters should be prepared for some set backs in his training in general as the poor boy will be going through a big change. Although he loves being outside like most setters, he’s also calm in the house and adores his humans. He’s a very happy soul as you can tell from the photos and videos with his family.
