Brittany, 4 Years Old
Lulu is now in foster in Gloucestershire, she is a gorgeous clear Liver and White female Brittany, she is four years old, her date of birth is 14/08/19.
Lulu was handed in to the shelter by her hunter as she was no longer wanted. At the shelter she soon showed she was an wonderful dog, with a very sweet nature. She is very affectionate with people, although she may be a little shy initially. She loves to be stroked and have a fuss made of her. She is very obedient within the confines of the shelter although this would obviously be different when out on an exciting walk. She has been great with the other dogs at the shelter, both male and female dogs. She loves to run around the enclosure, doing excited zoomies. She is a super affectionate little cracker!
In mid December Lulu arrived at her foster home in Gloucestershire and she has been an amazing foster dog, so loving and very keen to learn and please which makes training a joy. She has picked up housetraining with few accidents, she has learnt about walks on a long line and is already starting to respond well to recall in enclosed fields. She is thriving in a family home with dogs, cats and older children and she is doing so well. She gets on well with all the dogs and she is so affectionate with people, she is kind, gentle and usually calm. She has also met horses and behaved appropriately. She seems to be happy travelling in the car and she loves her walks, currently all long line unless in an enclosed field where she takes great joy in being able to run free. She is going to make someone the most loving, intelligent and loyal friend. Her foster mum says..
“She is our first foster dog, and I really tried to allowed myself to be prepared for anything. But I wasn’t prepared for is how wonderful she has been from the off. Lulu is a glass half full kind of girl, she will give you everything she’s got and she will always try to answer yes to your questions. She is full of optimism for life and love. On on your lap or by your side is her favourite place. She thrives with affection, she is so trainable already and all she wants is to please. She is an absolute joy.”
